Turkmenistan Trade Information Portal, launched on the 3rd of April 2023, is managed by the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan with the support of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and other governmental agencies. With technical assistance from ITC and UNCTAD, the portal plays a key role in digitizing and streamlining cross-border trade procedures in the Central Asian region.

The Government of Turkmenistan acknowledges the support of the European Union which has financed the development of the portal and related trade facilitation activities in the framework of regional initiatives: “Ready4Trade Central Asia”, implemented in 2020-2024, and “Ready4Trade Central Asia: Fostering Prosperity Through the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor”, which started in 2024, as well as the ongoing national project “Turkmenistan: Enhancing Trade Resilience and Integration”.

This contribution has been instrumental in enhancing trade efficiency and regional economic integration.
